Filters for Clean Rooms

A white room, clean room or clean room is a room specially designed to obtain low levels of pollution. These rooms must have strictly controlled environmental parameters: particles, temperature, humidity, airflow and internal air pressure. 

The air entering the laboratory is sterile since it has been filtered to remove suspended particles and microorganisms. It renews completely several times per hour to avoid accumulating dust. 

In the clean rooms, HEPA filters are used to retain particles.
